No one has more influence in politics than the People of whom politics effects. Interesting how many never see this museum, unless of course they attend a school or such who takes this as a tour. A
The old Sacramento Mansion shows the ecclectic nature of Calif. Antique and stellar, yet quaint and distinguished. With a European feel, it's influence is rather calming and very detailed, as we would expect it to be, very typical of Northern California. most definite something every native child of the State should see. What a field trip. Now to elect a governor and build a real mansion in this era of the State. Most all States in the United States have a governors mansion, and California should designate a site and have all of our children take part in what it should look like. Obviously, we will have a few adults that will want to get in on this one.
I think we need to keep this one real, for the most we are part Euro-decent and should base the designs of such a building to reflect the roots of the State and the Country. I have traveled across country scenery on what our ancestors have lfet us. Many of our wonderful structures are being demolished by the biased legislatures who would rather see the culture of Asian and Mexican artifacts run wild in California. Our old and relative history is in peril. This house is an enormous display of culture for our country to display to the many visitors that come to California. Wouldn't it be nice to see another extension to the Capitol for our sitting Governor's of California? I think so.
Eagerly approaching 2010, we will see yet another governor of the state, and I have found two that are seemingly adventurous, Gavin Newsom who dared to deal with {rop 8 in NorCal, and Edie Bukewihge from SoCal, a Constitutional Advocate taking another run. And there are still others entertaining the idea of leading the state; our Attorney General may run again, he was a two-term Governor before, Jerry Brown is not all there sometimes too. Bill Simon might make another run for it, or maybe for Lt. Governor, another one that should give it up. Meg Whitman who is either the ex-CEO of eBay, I think, with all of her excuses. And last but not least our Insurance Commissioner is trying his hand at running, Steve Poizner, who is, as far as I am concerned a real loser, during the fall of insurance companies and banks, what an arrogant human. The Democrat and Republican Parties are both very off base when it comes to female candidates running for governor. Let's see how off-base they are in the year of 2010. We solicited an interview with Edie Bukewihge, she seems to be the most interesting of them all. I enjoy the history given by strong women who are politically expressive, we will bring you her interview in early February of 2009.
