Jan 11 2009, 4:03 PM EST
My name is Jared Gaynor, and I'd like to be your assembly representative for the 5th AD here in CA!I recently submitted my paperwork to the California Secretary of State to declare myself a candidate for this office in 2010. I'm a progressive democrat who believes in the sanctity of our civil rights and that a representatives top priority MUST be to hold government accountable to it's citizens. Please join me on our way to 60 Assembly seats in 2010, and we can get California back on track together. Visit www.electjaredgaynor.com to join me in this fight. Cheers, Jared B. Dear Mr. Gaynor,What is your plan? Higher taxes? New taxes? Cut programs? Cut salaries and benefits for state and local employees? Competition for the teachers union? How are you going to help bring jobs here to California? Your pitch sounds like all of the rest, were are in trouble and need to get back on the right track, but who has the right plan? I don't see where giving Democrats more of a majority in the Legislature is the answer. How about building the wall to close our border and stop the illegal migration to the state. It creates jobs and there is lasting value to the state. We can deal with immigration reform later but lets stop the flow now. Remember the swine flu? Remember how fast is spread across the border? It would also slow down the ever increasing financial burden that is placed on the people of this state due to its large illegal population. Lets see some fresh ideas and get something done. Doing a double down on what we have been doing seems disastrous to me. Do you find this valuable? |
