Kinds of Trolls and how to deal with them.

Again, thanks to SE-779 at the Georgia Race Tracker.I will go over with you what kinds of trolls there are and how you ought to deal with them. 1. Troll: Trolls are the most original kind, these sore citizens are characterized by bad spelling, lots of CAPITAL LETTERS, and a fondness for phrases such as "you liberals", "Conservative Fascists", or "America haters". They have a short lifespan, and are usually banned within hours of their first posts. 2. Concern Trolls are slightly more clever, they pretend at being members of the opposite party, but at every turn seem to suggest the most damaging, boneheaded or offensive thing they can. These are easier to catch than you might imagine: since it hardly matters whether someone is an obvious concern troll or just an idiot. 3. Conspiracy Trolls are anybody who repeatedly posts badly sourced stories here. All contributors are responsible for the accuracy and legitimacy of the things they post. Posters that have a history of ignoring basic rules of journalism are not welcome here because they detract from the reputation of the site and damage the authors who do put a lot of effort into their articles. Whatever the topic is, 9/11 theories, Israel theories, or whatever, are irrelevant. It is the quality of the evidence presented that matters. 4. Purity Trolls are trolls from the left, otherwise known in real life as drama queens. No matter how pure your stance is, their position is more pure. No matter how compassionate, informed, skeptical, or ardent your opinion is, theirs is more so. These trolls are insistent that they are the true spirit of whatever, and spend their time being quite put out that the rest of us don't try to turn over our resources, our audiences, and our respect to them. The way to deal with these trolls is to contact me if you suspect one and I'll look into it. Do you find this valuable?
